A mechanical engineer, a former Navy SEAL, and an MBA walk into a bar…

This might sound like the beginning of a joke, but it’s not—it’s the beginning of a Mav6 happy hour.

There is no “typical” Mav6 employee. Some of us were trained by our military and shaped by our experiences in war zones; others studied at our nation’s top universities; some did both! We come from a variety of backgrounds and have tremendous respect for one another and the unique talents each Maverick brings to the team.

Our work is important and we take it seriously—but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We work hard, often spending long hours focused on solving challenging problems. We also play hard. Whether at the office, at happy hour, or at softball practice, you can often find us laughing and enjoying our time with one another.

Mav6 looks and feels like a unique blend of defense contractor, technology company, and dot-com. Some wear suits and ties, others wear jeans and their favorite fleece. Some bring structure, process, and discipline; others bring creativity and ask, “Why not?”

We’re proud to be diverse; it helps us approach problems from different perspectives and, ultimately, it makes us stronger. There's something else you should probably know about us—it's something pretty simple, but very important in uniting our diverse team: We’re passionate about what we do.
